I will sum this up in one sentence: Jimmy cracked corn, the cow jumped over the moon, the itsy-bitsy spider went up the waterspout, and the sun rose and set. And I still don’t care about Britney Spears. Memo to Britney: Go away. You had a great career, kid. It’s over, now. You are hurtling toward D-List celebrity status, where you are at an event now just to be seen; to ensure to everyone that you are still alive. We…do…not…care. That’s why they call it a D-List: the “D” stands for “Don’t care”. Exit stage right, Brit. Oh, and of course, this is the story that brings Justin “In the Cut” Timberlake out of the woodowork. Nice disappearance, Justin Houdini. Ba-da-ba-ba-baah, I’m lovin it.

Benson Playing Footsie With San Antonio

When you consider that the Saints organization before Katrina was already gearing up to ask the state for a new, multimillion-dollar stadium or else risk losing the team, should it be all that surprising that they are talking about leaving now? There was no way in hell that Louisiana taxpayers, who have and continue to subsidize Benson all these years (despite whether they were Saints fans or not), were going to be asked to pay more taxes in order to give Benson a new citadel for his pedestrian entity after Katrina. The legislature would have been foolish to pass it, and the governor, Kathy B. Blanco, would have been foolish to sign it.
Time to Reflect, Time to Let Go

After 794 days, and all the days that came before and since, I have to do what I have always done. Keep moving forward, with lessons learned from the past, hope and pray for the best in the days to come. That is what gets me through even the toughest of times, and the worst of situations. That is what carries me through today. And when that day comes when a woman finally understands what I’m about, and loves me for me, not because I fit or come close to a description or of trivial pretext, that is the day when I will feel that my confidence in love will not have been in vain. That day is coming. The trouble is…I do not know when.
